NDSU FarmHouse Fraternity is awarding two $3000 scholarships, one $1000 scholarship, and one $500 scholarship to any deserving male who is enrolled at North Dakota State University as an incoming freshman in the fall of 2017. The Builder of Men Scholarship was designed with the intent of rewarding young men for their hard work and dedication scholastically and in life as a whole. Those who receive this scholarship are considered to be of good moral character, high in scholarship and have the capacity for meeting and making friends. These scholarships are open to men enrolled in any major. Selection is based on academics, work experience, extracurricular activities and demonstrated leadership as they relate to activities, and must be submitted by October 7th.
To be eligible, one must be a student at North Dakota State University and complete their first semester with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and continue to be enrolled at NDSU into the spring semester. A personal interview or further information may be required before the recipients are selected. Funds will be distributed after verification of the fall semester minimum GPA and enrollment requirements.
Membership in the NDSU FarmHouse Fraternity is not required to be considered for these scholarships.
What is FarmHouse Fraternity? : FarmHouse is a fraternity dedicated to the building of men. Founded in 1905 at a YMCA bible study, its founders’ were seeking for a place to live and work together to promote mutual interests in stimulating companionship and fellowship. FarmHouse is open to all men who wish to pursue membership, not just agricultural students. FarmHouse Fraternity strive for four-fold development; intellectually, spiritually, socially and morally, and physically.
